FCP Crashes on startup
 
Hi, having a slight problem. FCP is crashing the computer everytime i try and open it. I tried the FCP rescue program but that didnt work. Anyone got any ideas?

Have you trashed your FCP preferences? That often works. Search and find the FCP preferences file and trash it. FCP should then load with the default settings.

i tried trashing the preferences first using FCPrescue but that didnt work. Managed to fix i now by re-installing final cut. Thank for your help

It's possible a problem caused by an audio or video plugin. Try to see when FCP is loading what is the last thing that trying to load before crash.
