Motion Text

Why does the text inserted from motion look so grainy, is there some settings I look at, certain colors, fonts, or text size anyone could recommend?

Thanks for the help,

More details and perhaps the answer can be found.

I am trying to lay a caption/disclaimer over some footage using motion. I am making the disclaimer in motion and imprting it into FCP. the text is very grainy, I have tried different fonts & sizes and it is still grainy...

Resolution? Codecs? Workflow (i.e. original motion doc or fcp export)? Details my friend.

the file is an original motion doc, the files is set to HDV 1080i50, which is 1440x1080 (this could be the problem) @ 25 fps, the footage in FCP is set on DV NTSC khz Anamorphic.

codec? not sure where to find that info.
