Is it a relatively straight process to set the colour bars on your monitor?
I've stuck one of my list of 'purchase priorities' now having found a good price on the Pantone Eye One. I hope to use photoshop again soon also, so wise investment all round.
Cheers.

.... If you have, or plan to invest, in Adobe(Serious Magic) HDRack, you'll get a full complement of tools(vectorscope, histogram, waveform monitor) to adjust your monitor with, plus a complete set of instructions how to do it.

Been reading on old threads on this board that there's the option of having this installed on a laptop running HDrack using that as a kind of monitor set up...though not quite the results you would get from a professional HD field monitor.
Still, that kind of talk is away beyond my budget at the moment...I'll get by with the LCD monitor and the investment in this calibration tool.
