Workflows for adding caption data to YouTube videos
As you would see from here (Metadata key to video industry: Adobe - Business - Insight - ZDNet Australia) it's very much worthwhile to add metadata to videos in order to enable search engines to better index them. When this tech really comes to the fore with search engines, videos with a full set of metadata (including caption data of the spoken content) will rank higher than those without.
Info on how YouTube likes its metadata is here: YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. So, (coming from someone with Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium) .... has anyone figured out a workflow for creating and adding caption data to their YouTube videos? Andrew |
