MPEG2 software decoder for live streams
Hi,
I am looking for a live MPEG2 and MPEG4 stream decoder for Windows XP platform. Any help would be greatly appreciated. regards |
Live HD Capture and Encoding
I noticed a new streaming video product that was recently released you might want to check it out:
http://www.mediaexcel.com/index.php I haven't reviewed it myself but it looks very interesting for IPTV applications. Currently I use Osprey Video's DV500 capture card to do live video capture and broadcast. It's controlled by Windows Media Encoder 9 which lets you select all the bit rates you want to generate then you tell Media Encoder 9 to place the live stream on your Windows Media Server 9. There is about a 12 second delay between video in and live video out on the Internet. This works in Windows 2003 Server environment (for Windows Media Server 9 component) see link below: http://www.viewcast.com/products/osprey/osprey560.html The reason I like Windows Media Encoder 9 and Media Server 9 is they're free ;-} Note:Media Server 9 is only supported Windows 2003 Server. I noticed the package below it might help you. http://www.videoguys.com/tricaster.html I checked into Macromedia's Flash Media Server 2 which really works great and plays out well on everyone’s system but if you buy the commercial version it's about $4500. You can download the developers version for free it supports only 10 streams. |
