Serious Problem with MegaWebServer - 5gbhosting
 

I heard of some good reviews of 5gbhosting.com so i signup with them on the windows2000 server that is Megawebserver.com, however the set of admin controls and ftp server user ID and passwords they sent me does not work.

I write serveral emails to them since a couple of days ago and there is no reply from them at all. I am from singapore, does anyone has their contact so i could call them? There is no contact number stated in their website.

I am really need to transfer my domain hosting very urgently becos i have a number of videos to load. ..

If anyone could advice me on this will be really great.

The company claims to be based in the UK but the domain
points to Albania as you can see above. I don't know if that
is a valid telephone number in Albania.

I also came across a couple of 404 not found pages and
their 'Live Help' seems to be non-functional as well. The
underlying company is UWH.BIZ Technology Inc. which can be
found here: http://www.uwh.biz/

According to the WhoIs information that company IS located
in the UK but they don't list a phone number in the WhoIs or
on that website.

They also claim to have a full help site at http://www.xazdns.com/helpdesk/
which gives me a nice 404 not found... Great!

Funny thing is that they claim 99.5% uptime on uwh.biz and
99.9% on megawebserver.com. Interesting.

I'd say this is not looking good!

Not that this helps you at all, but I read reviews that described them as scam artists.
