It's one of the greatest and one of those videos you just want to share with anyone who's scared of heights!

Very skilled flying and in no way a commercial video. However follow the links through and you are onto their website offering commercial services.

I hope they manage to resolve the issue as they have talent and imagination.

Yes nicely done. At 1:27 our intrepid flyer, the safety director at the TV station, is clearly in the flight path of GA aircraft. It's not uncommon for pilots to use radio towers as visual waypoints such as in areas where there is a dearth of visual references like flat farmland. I'm surprised FAA stopped at a C&D order.

If a GA Aircraft were flying that close to this mast they too would be subject to FAA scrutiny.

Shouldn't a problem for a GA aircraft as long as it's at least 500 ft away from the mast horizontally/vertically.

This is a Phantom with a GoPro, probably shot in 4K and cropped in to 200% on a 1080 timeline. Hardly that much of a danger I would imagine.

If you hit at at over 100mph in a light aircraft it's not going to do you much good. Keeping below 400ft keeps out of the 500ft minimums usual with aircraft, hopefully they keep well clear of military training areas where they go a lot lower and a lot faster.

Yep a bird can go through your windshield. Even my little Stinson cruises at 125 mph. I see 2 of the 5 hazardous attitudes displayed here:

Anti-Authority: “Don’t tell me.”
This attitude is found in people who do not like anyone telling them what to do. In a sense, they are saying, “No one can tell me what to do.” They may be resentful of having someone tell them what to do, or may regard rules, regulations, and procedures as silly or unnecessary. However, it is always your prerogative to question authority if you feel it is in error.

Invulnerability: “It won’t happen to me.”
Many people falsely believe that accidents happen to others, but never to them. They know accidents can happen, and they know that anyone can be affected. However, they never really feel or believe that they will be personally involved. Pilots who think this way are more likely to take chances and increase risk.
