Firestore FS-4, not enough battery for the job

As an avid FS-4 user, I have developed a portable battery pack for use with the FS-4/100. I have over 685 hours of field testing in its development. Check it out at:

Thanks,

Joe what is the advantage of your battery pack over the packs we are buying from battery space? It looks as though they have the same run time, but your's is over $50-$60 more.

I don't know for sure of the battery packs you are referring to to make a comparison, but I can point out that the Power Bag Junior comes with a multi-functional case and has a float charger that allows the battery to be left connected to the charger with no danger of over-heating or over-charging. Connect it and forget it.

FS4, Not Enough Battery

Sorry this message is coming in late....I recently found this forum...(was searching for ways to improve my FS-4!!)

I recently got a Power Bag Junior for my FS-4. Best thing I did!! The battery lasts and lasts....I have yet to run it down in a day's shooting!

I now leave the FS-4 on during a shoot and not worry about battery power.

I like the float charger to. It keeps the battery charged without worry of overcharging.....so I can run quickly when a client calls.

The over all construction is very well done....everything is in one bag that I hang from my trusty Miller wood sticks.

Now that I've solved my power issue...next up is a larger hard drive!!

BTW, I recall someone in this thread mentioned pricing. I don't think the Power Bag Junior is over-priced at all. As a pro who has well over 30 years in the business, I'm used to paying more to get better value. With Power Bag Junior...that's what I feel I got...better value.

FWIW,

Regards,

David
