Pc Will Not See Fs-4 Intermittently
 

My church recently purchased 3 FS-4 units. Mu editing Pc will intermittently not see 1 of the units. Tried it on another PC and it appeared with not problem. This was yesterday. Tried the unit in ? on my PC this morning and there it was. Anyone know why this happened. The other 2 units worked fine

There could be something wrong with the device or perhaps a cable you are
using is not 100% ok (this happens every now and then)? If this continues
just contact Focus Enhancements' support to sort it out.

On a side note, sometimes computers may take a little longer to recognize an external device in certain instances due to the fact that the computer may be doing another task.

Still having problem
 

Thaks for the help guys, but I'm still having problems. I tired tech support today via phone and held online for quite awhile with no answer by a real person. I also emailed tech support today. It seems to always be the same unit, which I have labeled #1. could be my firewire card. It is a Via card and read on their forum about others having problems with their card also. Just odd that it will work on the other 2 units and this one will work on another pc in the office here but not mine.
