if it will record to QT that would be great. Was this confirmed by Focus? From what I have read and heard, Apple will update FCP to support M2T files eventually and Firestore will never record in a codec that would require allot of processing power. The unit wouldn't handle it. But my info could be wrong.

I recently spoke to a Apple rep that said "off the record" they were working on accepting m2t files diresctly as well as Avid dnx files in the next release which we should see at NAB in two months.
