Fs-4 w/hd upgrade-Ntsc and Pal?

I have a couple of fS 4's,with hd up grade, one of which I'm selling. A couple of Europeans have asked me if it records Pal, but there's nothing in the manual regarding this.They were prchased at B+H.
Anyone know the answer?

If your unit was originally an NTSC/60Hz unit, it is capable of 50/60 based HD recording, but not capable of DV25 PAL.
