Premiere Pro CS3 HDV Firewire monitor viewing
 

I'm trying to get HDV to work with Premiere Pro CS3 with a Sony HVR-M15u deck. I can capture and playback on the laptop, but cannot get the video from the timeline back out through the firewire port to see it on a monitor. I can output a DVI to HDMI signal to the monitor, but the video is jerky, but could be used as a basic reference, but I really need the to see it through the HDV deck for somewhat accurate monitoring.
