camera options? up to €10000 range?
 

Hi everyone,

I am a little out of the loop regarding what cams are good these days. Using a Canon xm2 at the moment But want to upgrade. Should I be looking at HD? And tapeless? Any recommendations between 2000-10000 euro?

I've just moved from the XM2 to the Sony NX5 - which is certainly within your range at around 4000 Euro. It is certainly a great camera - with a more "pro" bias than the XM2. I pulled it oiut at the school sports day, and someone near by thought the BBC were there!!

Alan Roberts (more over on DVDoctor (when it is working) is quite a fan of one of the high end consumer HD cams (HF S21?) - certainly worth a look. I guess it depends what you need!
