cheap HD doc camera solution
 

I have started to make a doc series following a group of motorbike racers and have tried (and failed!) to use a 5dMk2,24-70l,Rode,Tascam DR-100 rig. Due to the nature of the subject I am missing stuff all the time as I fumble with ND filters, forgetting to hit record on both devices etc...It is basically just not practical for THIS project. So I am after a 2nd hand camera. This is for web only, I am not bothered about media type and have a budget of £1000 max and want it to be small. My first thoughts where either the Sony HVR-A1E or Canon LEGRIA HV40?

Any thoughts?
