Resolution - Canon 24F compared to JVC 24P

I'd like to know how the resolution of images shot with a Canon (H1, G1, A1) in 24F mode (particularly when downscaled to 720p), compare to the resolution of images shot with a JVC (HD100, HD200) at 24P. Has anyone closely compared?
