Video Stabilizer for 1080i files

I recently returned from vacation with footage from my Sony A1-U, only to discover that even though the Steady Shot was "on" (default setting), my clips were shaky.

Is there a Stabilizer program for HDV available? All I've been able to find (Google search) is DVD resolution programs. Premiere CS2, Vegas plug-ins or a stand-a-lone program would be OK

Thanks,

Final Cut Studio 2 has a built in plugin to remove camera shake.
Earlier Shake had such feature, but its discontinued by now.

If you use PC platform, they wont work for you.

DeShaker

Go to http://www.sundancemediagroup.com/ar...aker_guide.htm and you'll find a good description of how to do it. Both VirtualDub and DeShaker are free (but the authors won't be upset by a little financial support) and work extremely well. Ah, you will need to convert HDV camera files to avi, using Cineform or other.
