Edius Broadcast 4.13
 

I just got a new dual core comp and installed my free copy of edius broadcast 4.13 that came with my hd 250 camera and it will not open up. Does the program not work in ms windows vista. Is there a patch so it will or a setting i can adjust.

Dump your vista. We have 5 happy edius workstations running in our facility for a couple of years now on XP with SP2. Vista is a dud.

Check in at the Grass Valley forums. There are people who are successfully using Edius with Vista.

Software only it will run in VISTA.
But make sure your turn all the crap off in VISTA. Security this security that update this update that, pop up alerts this bla bla bla....took me half a day to turn all the rubbish off.

Is it any faster or better than XP to edit with?? NOPE...
