Importing edls into Edius5.1

I'm very new to Edius and like it very much so far.

However I've not had any luck importing my ale files into it. Also with the cvs files that I've generated in Excel, Edius only ever sees the first ten or so files.

Has anyone got a decent edl import workflow working in Edius?
