BASURA- means trash or garbage in our language.

In this video, the first part shows a bleak environmental situation and towards the middle to the end, an eco solution was undertaken towards a positive outcome.

-with that story outline I used EDIUS' ability to stack filters and playback realtime to create the corresponding moods starting with a contrasty desat look in the beginning then slowly bringing out color and saturation towards the end.

A combination mostly of the WB filter -which I personally think is more than just that and SHOULD be renamed a 3 way color corrector! -also the color balance and on certain clips the YUV filters was used.

This was shot using JVC HD200 with a DIY 35mm adapter.

Don't know if you've worked with other NLE's....but if you have, how do you like Edius compared to them?

Yes, Ive worked with premiere for a long time, from from version 4 to pro 1.5.
Adobe products are ok, BUT at the time pro 1.xx versions came out, computers were still slow and HDV came along. Computers struggles with the fully loaded application of premiere pro and together with mpeg2 they just bogged down.

EDIUS by then canopus, was fast, reliable and stable. For fast editing with simple transitions and CC even basic chroma key EDIUS is reliable, so NOW that computers are faster and new formats coming out like AVCHD, we are still using edius.

More complex comps and CC is done in After effects of course.

Thanks Ted, definitely helps; I've been considering Edius vs. PPro vs. Vegas vs. ... so on and so on!!

Edius seems really under-rated; maybe because it doesn't have as many plug-ins as the other NLE's.
