Anyone Using New Blue Noise Reduction in Edius 6?
 

I am using NB noise reduction in Edius 6.08 and the preview window ceases to respond when I drop this plugin on the timeline.

This plugin work fine in Vegas 8.0.

Any thoughts?

It's horrifically slow - if I have to use it I wait till everything else is done then drop it in and leave it to render.

I did a short test and it took 7 minutes to render 20 seconds of video in Edius.

In Vegas 8, not a problem at all.

With the same plugin in Vegas, I'm rendering 104 minutes of video and after 38 minutes it is 13% done.

In Edius the program indicated it would take 44 hours.

I love Edius, but will not be using this plugin any time soon.
