real time editing HD100 m2ts in EDIUS 4
 

Suffering from SD to HD migration pains i finally settled on a cost effective solution for the moment. Using my existing hardware based on a STORM 2 card but this time running EDIUS 4. I seemed to have found a good and stable match for the unique 24P requirements of the HD100. The new procoder express in v4 now fully support the hd100. Capturing in now integrated without using a separate "mpeg capture" utility. The thing i like about this solution is, while editing, i can change my project settings to SD so i can view footage in a video monitor through the storm card to color grade footage. Switch back to HD for the final output to HD resolution delivery.

Thanks for the info... (but I'm still learning Pro 2 - and that's blasting my mind!).
