DVCPRO 50 to Apple TV?
 

Wondering what the best format I should export from DVCPRO50 for use on TV. Using FCP 6

I noticed exporting from FCP to TV doesn't keep the original aspect ratio. Exporting to TV using Quicktime does. Is this the best way? Going with Quicktime?

I would use the QuickTime export.

Realized I was exporting on 5.1.4 and not on FCP 6.0.2

FCP 6 exports it with the right aspect ratio, but I tried exporting the same file again using both programs and with FCP I get a size of 10MB on the export. With Quicktime I get 38.9MB. Does this mean QT gives it a better quality setting? Or is there better compression using FCP ?
