Does crossfire or sli bring any benefits to video editing?

Trying to decide between P35 and X38 chipset boards. Found an Asus I liked, but it is a P35 which will limit my expandability to a crossfire platform. The second PCI buss in a P35 only goes 4X, bringing a bottleneck. Do you guys use crossfire when editing? I currently have purchased a HD3870 oc edition with 1 gig of memory. Let me know ASAP.
Thanks!
Mario

Nope. Graphics cards play a very small part in video editing. Premiere has/had some sort of inclusion of the GPU when rendering effects and whatnot but I'm not sure about the details.
