Aspect vs. Vegas
 

Looks like I'll using a PC solution for my upcoming project.
(MAC files sizes are too big)
I have a beefy windows machine, so its the just software.
Looks like Aspect will cost a total of $1400 to use.

With regard to final output quality: Will I notice a difference?
I've read the difference(s), seems like it may be in the eye of the beholder.

Will the file sizes be comparable?

Also, I've read that there may be some quality issues with capture utiltity that comes with the camera (needed for Vegas)
