HDV Broadcasting...Solution?
 

I'm working with our local cable company to start Northern Michigan's first all-local, all HD station. This is basically going to be a high-def local access station, and as such, we have quite a low budget. We're using an HDV camera and a G5 for all the production, but the thing we haven't figured out is the playback. We need a solution that will play back HD clips at a specified time--"playout automation" or "broadcast automation". The problem is, as far as I can find, all the HD video servers are EXTREMELY expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what sort of server to use? Any sort of software based solution? Any suggestions would be awesome--playback automation seems to be just about the last hurdle here!
