Any proxy solutions for PPro 2.0?
Is there any low res proxy solutions to edit HDV in premiere pro 2.0 ?
thanks |
Maybe I'm not understanding your question, but...you can simply convert your HDV clips to (say) DV proxy files either in Premiere itself - or using a 3rd party encoder like TMPG XPress (which has a batch process option) or Procoder Express.
Use PPro's Link/Unlink commands to do your editing on the DV clips, then link back to the original HDV clips for your final render. |
That is exactly what i need, thank you!

wait, if i'll work with dv proxy files, then it would not be possible to relink it back to hdv files - sizes are different!
|
In what way? - anamorphic DV is widescreen 16:9....
|
yes, but 16x9 dv is 852×480 and hdv is 1440(1920)x1080 - so if project is in dv, then when i link it to hdv - it will be bigger then stage + field order will be opposite?
