Is this the editing software for me??
 
The Vegas 6 + DVD Upgrade from Vegas 5 and DVD Architect 2 is the software that a few people have recommended. I have windows, and I want to make sure this is the one needed. Do I need to have Vegas 5 to use this?? Or should I use the Vegas Movie Maker as a starter?? Does the Vegas movie maker have the 24p conversion??
I'm using a Canon XL1S camera to import footage.

If you don't have a previous version of Vegas, get the full version (not the upgrade).
