Buy EDIUS 4.5 and get a real NLE. IMHO, forget Vegas as it a pain in the a**. An audio editor pushed into the video world.

For beginners like me CyberLink's PowerDirector is very good, and for me I have to use PowerDirector 5/6 because it has one feature called "MagicFix" which works really wonder, it remove shak/blure in video, and since I am not using tripod so for me it is necessary. I have received so many complement on my posted videos; the majority people say how your videos look steadier than others! It is because if this supplied software!

Right now I am fine with PowerDirector, but will soon buy maybe Adobe; I know it is much expensive! Is anybody tell me that Adobe has similar feature like PowerDirector? I mean to say does Adobe reduce shaky moments like PowerDirector? And I also aware that we required much skills to use Adobe!
