35mm Adpter for gy-hd100

What is a good low to mid priced 35mm Adpter for the gy-hd100? Any packages with everyting included available? Thanks in advance. EDT

Hi edward,
For me the best adaptor is the sgpro, we have a similar one and have used it on our last music video w/ lots of success. I have tested the Brevis and redrock before but never been convinced by their bokeh look.

Simon,

Do you use the SGpro Follow Focus?

If you do, can you offer comments on how it works? How much slack does it have?

Thanks!

Hi Jack

We use the SGPro follow focus unit and found it to be great with the JVCGYHD201 (with its inbuilt image flip). We had a semi-retired professional focus-puller on set who is of course very experienced and he was impressed with it and had no issues.

By the way, I second Simon's recommendation of the SGPro as a good low price 35mm adapter for JVC cameras. Just a bit of tweaking to do in regard to achieving reliable focus and a better achromat required to avoid the vignetting. But then again maybe I am biased as the SGPro guys live just around the corner from me..!

Dan
