There is no lux rating. The CCD's have similar pixel count as FX/Z1. If CCD's are made by Sony, low light performance should be similar.

Prism system is good for F1.4 lenses.

Camera is compatible with BluRay and HDDVD.

Nice camera.

I'll be the first to admit it....

I think I'm going to buy this camera because it LOOKS so darn cool.

Lou Bruno June 15th, 2005 05:20 PM

It's 6 Lux.

Under "related products"...

Chris,

I noticed that this time, as opposed to previous printed materials, they included under "related products" the CU-VH1 small VTR, but it does not go into more information as to how it would play into theit HDV scheme. Would it be because it will play only the 30P, or because of a possible firmware? I know I have insisted on this topic before, but in my opinion it is very relevant today more than ever, now that we have more precise information about this incredible camera...

Is 6 Lux Japanese or U.S. spec?

Arrival time

Based on an e-mail I just received from a JVC district representative, the arrival time is August, not July.

I heard this today as well...

But the official unveiling for Aus is at the SMPTE expo is Sydney, so what are they getting at?

People can still order them in now.
