Best Prices

Hi All

Just a quick one. Where is everyone buying their HD100s (or in my case HD101) from? Is there an internet company selling them off at a good price? I am chasing a full kit. Camera - 3.5 wide angle - miller sticks - a decent matte box and filters - good carry case. Any takers? What about some suggested prices. Perhaps an opportunity to make sure we all get the best deals. I spotted the wide angle for just over $8000 US. That is a pretty good deal isnt it?

On the subject of the 3.5 wideangle, does anyone have any still frames using the wideangle. I wanted to downlad the video from the wideangle but I only have a dial up connection. for instance, whats it like shooting inside a car? What about big landscapes with lots of sky etc. If anyone has a smaple of the wide angle, please feel free to post them or email them to me direct. I am a real wide angle guy and I love my 4.8 on 2/3inch cameras. Im keen to see how the 1/3 inch lens compares.

Thanks heaps, hope to hear from some of you soon.

Hi Leigh,

It's our policy on this site that the *only* dealers we discuss our our sponsors:

www.dvinfo.net/sponsors

I don't have a dealer from Australia onboard yet but I'm working on it.

I haven't seen any input yet regarding the wide angle lens... that really needs to be a topic for a separate discussion. Thanks,
