Aren't weddings "real work?"

I'm looking forward to doing weddings, and doing them well. The challenge and appeal to me is capturing a positive event that is of paramount importance in the lives of those involved, and doing it justice artistically.

It would be nice if there was more profit potential in weddings though. Frankly, I think that couples significantly underestimate the lasting value of a truly wll produced video of one of the biggest events of their lives, otherwise there would already be a huge demand for high definition in that arena.

Hey Steve, what "Filmout mode" do you refer to? The Gamma preset?

WireIMAGE

Hi Guys,

One of my goals at Sundance was to find people shooting with the HD100. There were quite a few. Here is an interview I did with Justin Kahn one of the founders of WireIMAGE. I asked him why they chose the HD100 and how it was working for them.

I watched the interview and honestly, I can say the exact same things in regard to the HD-100. Beautiful image that doesn't break the bank and a camera that takes you back to your roots. I feel the same excitement about it as Justin because a camera as good as the HD-100 was out of my reach until NAB 2005.

all the best,
