Is the DRHD100 the only option for this camera?
Is there a more rackmount or desktop version
for studio shoots?

Check out the tapeless forum here on DVINfo net. If Shining can get their act together the CitiDiskHDV actually has superior mounting options to the firestore, with a direct AB or IDX holder for the drive. All we need now is reliability and less noise.
