That was cool Stephen. A nice dramatic look, but definitely of the drop frame/frame by frame slow mo variety. Do you ever shoot 30p for a 20% slowdown to 24p? That can sometimes be nice too, albeit a subtle, slight slow mo.
I like it but I really dig getting the full 60p out of the camera. btw folks, had to take the clips down. Hope you guys enjoyed the comparison. B |

That shot is 30p slowed down to 15fps. I normally (lately) have been shooting 576p50 for SD uprez to HD and then using the footage for slow motion (in an NTSC scenario). With that shot, no matter if it's 60fps or not, the forground would look like stop motion compared to the actual subject of the shot (I believe) because the panning was so quick. I'm back in the US now and getting my jet lag worn off (slowly)... |
