JVC has extended the Anton Bauer Power Promotion to August 31, 2006.

JVC Marketing Bulletin was released today, 07/05/06, announcing an extension of the end user incentive program with their multiple-award winning GY-HD100U ProHD camcorder. For each new unit purchased from an Authorized JVC Dealer between May 1, 2006 and August 31, 2006, JVC will ship directly to the end user an AB-DIONIC-HDV Anton Bauer battery system package with battery, charger and GYHD100U battery bracket. A $1,195.00 retail value.

I assume this promo ONLY applies to the HD100 and not new orders for the HD110?

Yes..you are correct, this promotion is for U.S. sales on the GYHD100U[A]
The HD110 is not included in this promotion.

My understanding is that the upcoming 200 and 250 have the ability to flip the image in the eyepiece if you're using one of those Redrock type spinning ground glass adapters, but the 100 does not. Is that correct?

yes thats correct

The GY-HD100U has no image flip feature at all.

The GY-HD110U will have an image flip mode ONLY for the LCD flip-out monitor. It does not affect the recorded image. This will help those who use devices like the Red-Rock to better frame up their shots. But, they will still have to invert the image in post production.

The GY-HD200U and GY-HD250U will have image invert that will flip the image in the viewfinder, and LCD, and it will flip the image before it is recorded to tape.
