Shoulder Brace, Steadicam

Anyone use one of those shoulder brace units with the HD100? How were the results? I used to have a real steady hand with the VX2000, my tracking shots were unnaturally smooth, some called it a gift, anywho with the HD100 and all its added weight between the battery pack, lens adapters etc. it's hard to get stable looking moving shots. My question is has anyone use one of these shoulder brace stabilizing units and if so which ones and how were the results?

I am also looking for an excellent brace for my camera. My muscle locked on me the other day and had to put camera back on tripod.

Heh...I was planning on another month of shooting on the doc I'm currently working on and while I was down at the CDC in Atlanta (of all places) I herniated the C4-5 disc in my back. I'm not blaming the HD-100, but I still had several days of shooting left before I could come back to California and seek medical attention. I spent that time wishing the HD-100 was the size of a pack of smokes. ;-)

Hey fellows, please use the rest of the site for these topics...

We have a dedicated forum for all things relating to shoulder supports: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/forumdisplay.php?f=121

As well as Steadicams and other stabilizers: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/forumdisplay.php?f=119

I'm closing this thread only because the discussion needs to be carried over to those specific boards.

Thanks in advance,
