Stay away from Cavision glass. Very poor quality. Go with the JVC adaptor which is much better quality though not as wide.

Thanks for your reply~

I have century 0WA-7X93 with my HD-100,But we need WIDE ANGLE CONVERTER .My friends have JVC WCV-82SC ,it's good CONVERTER,but not wide enough for stage performance .If I just zoom 1X to 8X .the image quality good or bad?

Thanks

All I can say is buyer beware. I bought a Cavision piece of glass several years ago. I had to return it and lost lots of money on the import fees I paid.

It was like putting a soft focus filter on the front of the lens, and that was Standard Def. I can't imagine how bad the image would look in HD.

If you buy, don't expect your image quality to be very good. There is a reason the Cavision stuff is so cheap.

Oh my God!!!

I put the century 0VS-07CV-XL2 0.7X converter in front of HD-100 lens.Just a little vignetting .Maybe I can DIY the 0VS-07CV-XL2 to fit HD-100 ^^! I also try to test SONY HG0872 . It also just a little vignetting with HD-100.

If I succeed refit the 0VS-07CV-XL2 with hd-100. I will report for you.very thanks^^

I have a Cavision wide angle adapter (you can zoom through it - does that make it a "converter?" ... I forget which is which) and it's just wonderful. It cost about 750 bucks CDN and it's Great.

Notice any dimunition or degrading of the image quality? one of the posts in this thread says that's the drawback to cavision.
