Filter For Stock Lens Ca?
Is there any screw on filter one can apply to the stock lens in order to limit that annoying purple green chromatic abberation that so often happens with the stock lens for the hd100?

Just avoid using the iris fully opened. If you apply a filter you lose light anyway...

Is there a "sweet spot" iris setting in your opinion? I'm a newbie. Thanks. |

CA on the 16x5.5 fujinon lens is a function, mostly, of zoom position. CA is worst when zoomed fully in. While stopping down may mitigate the CA problem, it won't eliminate it at full zoom. I've just learned not to use that last bit of zoom. No filter, short of a magical one, can make optics better than they were designed. There's a plugin available for VirtualDub that helps with the CA problem, but, it's use is somewhat problemattic.
