I'm still confused about where to part it from. Can someone provide a pic? This would be the most convenient solution!

Amos Kim March 15th, 2007 05:29 PM

Steve Oakley March 18th, 2007 04:40 PM

you guys do know that in the menu that shows you the firmware version, there is a LCD flip option - certainly in my 100 its there... no hardware hacks required

To enter in the hidden menu is something related to push together menu and focus assist when you are in 24p mode? Or this is just for mapping pixels?

Anyone knows better?

Florentin!

The focus assist only works in the LCD VF/Display.
Unfortunately you also donīt get Zebra out of the Composite Output.

But due to the high resolution of the b/w vf you donīt need focus assist.

We're just talking about flipping left to right, right? I just checked this out and there is no image inversion.

lcd l/r reverse is not available in my hd110.

Florentin Cimpeanu March 26th, 2007 04:10 AM

I just checked my GY-HD110 and this option LCD L/R reverse is not available in my camera too.

Is anybody who checked this option on GY-HD100 and can tell us if there is an upside-down inversion, or is just a left/right inversion (mirroring), like that in the GY-HD110, because this is one of the new changes in GY-HD110 vs. GY-HD100?

I have this feeling, that in GY-HD100 and GY-HD110 is not posible to see in VF or LCD the right image with HZ-CAU13. The only solution is to rotate manually the LCD of the viewfinder.

It is just my opinion.

Florentin
