HD110U discontinued?
 

Is it true that this camera has been discontinued by JVC?

Not according to the website. It is still a 'featured product." Only the HD100 has been archived.

Where did you hear that?

From JVC Customer Care. Here is part of the reply I got, asking about buying the JVC HD110U body only:

" ... since we've discontinued these models, you'd need to purchase them online, such as Amazon, Overstock, Ebay."

Does it sound like I might have gotten hold of someone in the service department instead of sales??? I contacted JVC by filling out this form:

It sounds like a case of mistaken identity to me. They probably thought you said HD100.
I could be wrong though.
