IŽd be interested in this as well. I have the 0.8 wide angle adapter sold by JVC, but a little more would be nice to have.

Wide angle adaptor

check this one out:

http://www.red-eye.tv/

it's an awesome piece of glass - and as light as a UV filter. It works with both the standard lens, or you can use it as an adjunct to the JVC 0.8 adaptor.

I just bought one. It's fab.

I've not used the Cavision but generally speaking these kind of adapters are useless. I bought a Red Eye; it's the most expensive drinks coaster I've got. It's never going near my camera ever again. Maybe with a 0.4 the effect is extreme enough that all the chromatic aberration, vignetting and softness is not so critical.

Get yourself a new suit, buy your wife a nice meal or take your mistress on dirty weekend away, but don't waste your money on one of these rubbish adapters.

Just my very humble opinion.

Liam.
