Kevin...

Actually, I am also having great results in 720p, even at 19 mbps. I have to say that I love shooting mostly in 720p60 at 19 mbps. I've gotten great results with this recording mode. Most of my challenge is coming with shooting full 1080p in 30p and 24p. Some issues are inherent in shooting progressive, while others are the results of my settings. I have gotten better results from quite a bit of tweaking. Still, I find the images to be not the greatest when viewing in actual size. A lot of noise around the leaves of trees, etc. Using my ND filter has helped, along with reducing my detail setting to around -7 or -8. Once you get rid of that edge enhancement, the images do start to look more natural (at least to my untrained eye). That said, anybody out there been shooting (with the HM100) outdoors in 1080p24? What settings have worked best for you?

UPDATE: Actually, I'm finding that turning on my ND filter, using the cinema subdued color matrix, and setting my detail to about -5 seems to offer better results, or at least results that are more to my liking.

Glad to see that you are getting better results.

Now try your 720 60p with 35bit and it should be great.
