Did Sony change it's packaging for Premium Tapes?

Anybody know if Sony has changed their packaging on their Premium tapes? The packages used to be blue, but I just got a new order in and the packages are orange, but they say premium on them. Don't have an old tape here to compare the number.

The number on the orange tapes is DVM60PR3

They say they are made in france.

Thanks

Hi Jeff,

I asked about that once, because it seems like everytime I go in to buy a box they're a different color. The answer I got? "Oh, Sony just does that."

Not much of an answer, but they've always seemed to be the same tapes. Nothing to worry about, anyway.

I had a bunch of these tapes in a red (or maybe dark orange?) wrapper that I bought around 3 years ago. All the ones I've bought recently have been blue though. My new blue packages say DVM60PRL and are made in Japan. So that's probably the difference....

Yes...

Here in Spain, the package used to be black and red like the tape itself (I think)... and a bunch of months ago they changed it to orange.. and changed the fonts used..

But itīs the same tape.. inside itīs still black and red..
And even the stickers are the same ones.

In New Zealand, all Sony premiums that I've found are red. When I ordered from B&H I was surprised they were blue. Maybe just different countries like different colours and it changes like trends ;)
