Recycling clear plastic casing of mini-DV tapes

I have an enormous number of the clear plastic cases after using the tape inside and then archiving them without those cases.

They're simple, one-type plastic pieces which would seem to lend themselves to being reconfiguring into some other functional form...but am not finding anyone who wants them.

Any guidance out there?

Hi Gene,

I don't have an answer of what you should do with them, but I could use 10 of the plastic cases if you are willing to sell them to me. Please email me at jon.ifms at gmail.com.

Thanks, Jon

A place to recycle nearly anything...for EVERYONE :-)

Hey...
Dan & Marsha Phillips have a WONDERFUL program called "The Phoenix Commotion" in Huntsville, Texas (yes 'that' Huntsville). They take materials before it goes to the landfill and find ways to incorporate items into building low cost homes for low income families. What comes out are GORGEOUS one of a kind homes.

I am currently filming a documentary about Dan, Marsha, Huntsville, the locals and Phoenix Commotion. Check them out here and send those cases (and anything else!) to Dan. He'll come up with some incredibly wild super cool! idea... and use those puppies somehow :-)

Here is the link with stunningly beautiful photos that the NYTimes just put out Sept. 3rd on these wonderful folks.

Click on "related article" to read the story... it's fascinating. Dan is a true Renaissance Man. His wife Marsha is the "bees knees".

Take care, thanks for contributing and God Bless! Roze

Thanks...

Am realizing that I don't want to recycle these...and am appreciating their function more now.
