Just to update. I contacted GoPro and he went threw some setting and said there is a major problem. I have to send them the LCD and the camera together.RRRRR Any way I really appreciate all the help. By the way I did all the above to try to get it to work but to no prevail.

Yes there have been some hardware failure reported, some problems have been with the camera/port but without having a BacPac to test, you never knew they existed. But most are just FW user procedure error.

That's it, it's also a recorder but i don't use that function, only the av in.

The reason i use that one is because of the small size, fantastic screen brightness and it's own internal 1100mhA battery. But can also be powered by USB.

Another use i have for the little monitor is on the operator end of a 4meter pole with the Gopro on the other, just like a mini crane with av monitoring.
