Effects tracker
 

Hey New Blue I was thinking. One of the most useful tool in After Effects is the ability to track motion on screen and then parent an effect to it. So you could for example, make an object flying in the background and it would track with the camera motion. It's honestly one of the only reasons I think about buying AE but it costs a lot of money.

Does NB have something like that for Vegas Pro 8 or are you guys working on something like that?

NewBlue does not currently have anything that does motion tracking. Even if it did, it would not be able to tie to another event on another track as it could only affect the event to which it was applied.

Well I was asking because Vegas can parent tracks together. I was just hoping. Thanks for the reply though.
