HD110 and firestore drive.
 

Hi All,

I have a JVC GY-HD110 and a firestore recorder DR-hd100. So unless I have a setting wrong, the interface is a tad quirky - I can't tell if I've started recording or stopped. All the display says is "SYNC" or something. So often I think I hit the record button and I didn't, or thought I hit the stop and I didn't.

So do I have a setting wrong, or is this how it works - I am tapeless, BTW.

Second question, is there a better recorder ? I upgraded to a SSD Drive, but still this is a slow beast of a recorder. :)
