Nikon D800 Concept Commercials
 

Below are two concept commercials shot for future promotional use. Shot entirely on the Nikon D800, no color grading and the audio was recorded on the Nikon D800 as well. Music added later.

Lenses used: Tamron SP 24-70mm 2.8 and Tamron SP 70-200mm 2.8

ISO settings were at 800. Shutter 60, recorded at 1080p30.

I've noticed with the D800 it really pays to get the exposure right when shooting. I've also been testing the audio inputs with external mic pres and the noise levels aren't bad. I wouldn't want to record a concert with it but an interview would be fine.

I've noticed as well that if you use "auto" for audio inout it picks up room noise when no one is talking. So currently when using the audio input its always manual which seems to capture nice sound. Noticed this in some test interviews with the camera.
