As the potential for Pinnacle to milk the technologies of Steinberg, they now have the potential to offer alot more...

lets hope they do as this article alone is enough to make me reconsider a changeover...

now it wouldnt be hard to createa an update on a Pinnacle App for VST shell application, which would allow one to run VSTplugins.. and VST plugs are dead easy to configure for different apps, so theres one potential...

Its fr nuendo, but the potential is there for more...

BUT it wouldnt be too long before we could route Pinnacle video thru ReWire to be able to sync video to cubase...

Could be worse. It could have been Apple buying out Steinberg. Then it would ne sucked into the Mac-only world!
