Stupid Capture Question
Long story, short question:
Is there any potential problem using a Canon GL2 to playback DV tapes made on a DVX100? My DVX is giving me problems with audio playback--the GL2 plays them no problem. But I was wondering if there were any issues I should be aware of. I don't see why there would be, but... Thanks in advance DVMonks! Kurt |
No, playing back tapes from other camera's isn't a problem. Mixing
tape brands can be a problem because of different chemicals used in the tapes. This can dirty up your heads faster and result in some other weird stuff with playback. |
Thanks Rob, much obliged.

If you record in LP mode tapes won't interchange between decks/cameras well. However, you shouldn't be recording in LP mode in the first place...
